Update from Beer/Lauver household

Construction is almost complete downstairs. Can I get a big WOOOOO HOOOOOO? Still need to put up a ceiling light and hang the door on the closet and bathroom and put the carpet in the office. Then it will be all done down there for a while!!! YEAH. I can cook again - no more microwave in the bedroom or coffee pot in the bathroom or refrigerator in the garage. It's been a long 9 months. Christopher did a wonderful job on it. He's very talented. If I ever figure out how to use the camera, I'll upload a pic.

There is a big 4th of July celebration at our lake every year - complete with fireworks, pancake feed, watermelon races for the kids, fishing tournament, raffles, art show, softball games, dances, bingo and more. It's a huge days-long festival. Tons of people attend. Chris's little brother Mark won the fishing tournament for largest Bass this year. It was a good time to be had by all.
