In Memory of Mike Lunsford

I'm very sad to post that Mike Lunsford passed away yesterday, April 17, 2006.

I think it would be nice for us to all post memories of Mike.

My memories of Mike: His wonderful voice - how could you not say something about that... And that toothy grin. One of the things I remember most about Mike was how it always made me feel special that he would put his arm around my shoulder when he was standing next to me when I was about 11 or 12 or so. I was just tall enough to fit into the crook of his arm. He would put his arm around my shoulder and I would tilt my head up to see him and listen to whatever he was saying to whomever he was talking to. I also remember the way he always kissed Mammie on the cheek. - Tina
